The reason the sights are like that, sry i know this one lol i have a brush shooter in real life, 30 30 max carbine to be exact is because the sight grade on them is low, they are meant for quick firing, not elongated aiming, maybe they just wanted to simulate that.Actually, it's a problem with the programming. They screwed the pooch on the sight alignment, credit to whoever here posted the screen shots showing how bad it was. As for the sights of the real life rifles being 'off', those rifles (Winchester 1886, Marlin 1895, etc.) often came with very accruate sights. I have some Winchester advertisemants somewhere around here from about 1886 that show about 20 different sights available.

My thinking is if your sight is 'off' and you're marking it up to a poor design, then you might want to see what you can do at the range and sight the thing in. My brother (a 20yr Army guy) is constantly complaining about some new rifle he's purchased that isn't shooting 'right'. Then I take it, dial in the correct dope on the sights, and voila!, nuthin' but bulls.

You can have all your fancy miniguns, grenade launchers, fatmans and energy weapons. I'll keep my hunting rifle. It's just so simple - a basic bolt-action rifle, held together by duct tape and string. It's the defining post-apocalyptic 'realism' gun. The kind of thing you.would. God with us chords cfc.

Christine's sniper rifle in the Big Empty and the Brush Gun are my favorite guns, and the futuristic axe from the Big Empty the choice for melee. If its mass slaughter, I like the laser MP and the shoulder gun from Lonesome Road best, if I cant use heavy explosives.From mods my favorites are Lucky Bastard (an very powerful varmint rifle with 30 damage vs 18), which can be scoped and silenced, and the RHINO.45-70 revolver (can be scoped, holds three slugs). I stopped using them when the expansions came out, as they make the game to easy for me, but they are both very well made (I love the look of the RHINO). And of course I love the mod which introduced a recipe to make nuka grenades.
