Hi allHere's a challenge - what's the SMALLEST W7 installation you can do so that its functional but would fit on to a USB stick with enough space for data. Ideally the OS should be less than 4GB.It must have explorer, browser (internet access) disk burning software, disk and usb access, a partitioner and backup / recovery software. Everything else can GO.(A leak to Windows 7 starter edition might be a good beginning point). The OS doesn't need AERO, themes or whatever - just as small or 'vLited') as possible so its functional with network access.Cheersjimbo.

Ran across this article:my question: are there any tutorials posted about how to properly set up an ssd as a boot drive with a larger capacity drive as storage? I'd like to know how to move the user folders to the secondary drive as well as any other settings for the ssd for windows 7 performance. Obviously, with a drive that small, you'd want absolutely nothing else on that drive unless it absolutely, positively needs to be on that drive. You should put Programs on it too, then install your User files to the larger data drive. Here's the best tutorial on the subject.
