After saving your BIOS changes, the computer will restart and boot from your USB Flash Drive. The installing will ask you which partition you would like to install Windows7 to. Choose the larger Partition2.Leave the OEM Partion1 intact. This is the factory restore partition which contains the original OS files that shipped with your computer. This partition allows you to restore your computer back to the way it was when you first brought it home. I believe rebooting and holding down ALT/F10 will start the Acer system recovery utility.

I tried to use a msdn 32 bit win 7 ult n to see if it would accept a install of win 7 at allbut when I try to install a win 7 os I getnothing@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@You say that don't know what edition was originally preinstalled and which is associated with the product key.I hope you have chosen the right edition of Windows 7 as if you havern't, but use that product key on the COA sticker, it won't activate.And you will have to keep trying to install the different editions until you find the correct one.
