Put Phone On Standby
My user was using the 7962 model IP phone to running some long period conference call. Their feedback to me, when ever their put the phone without any activity (the call still ongoing) and leave for some checking. The call will be drop right after the phone go into the standby/sleep mode (the display screen going to black/blank).

Ragnarokx just listed that great popup app, I had not seen that but it is a great option. Another app you should check out if you don't want your screen to always turn on is which lets you change the blinking LED to whatever color you would like for each different kind of notification your phone has.
