Unable To Change Desktop Background
Hello,I am running Window 7 Home Premium and have been unable to change my desktop background. After checking other threads with similar problems being discussed I am still unable to.- I have made sure that 'Remove background images' (where available) is unchecked in the Ease of access center.- I don't have any third party display changing programs running.- I have run the Microsoft System File Checker through the command prompt with it telling me no problems detected.- When navigating to%USERPROFILE%AppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsThemesthe folder comes up empty. I feel this is where the problem must lie, but am unable to find a solution to it.Also, when trying to set an image from a browser as background nothing happens. When trying to set an image from Windows Photo Viewer I get the message'This image cannot be set as wallpaper. An internal error has occurred.' IT TOOK ME AGES.ITS SOO EASY ALL YOU DO IS-GO TO START MENU-GO TO WINDOWS EXPLORER (OR GO TO YOUR DOCUMENTS, AND IN THE TOP LEFT BAR PASTE THIS-%USERPROFILE%AppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsThemes(I LOOKED IN THAT FOLDER AND FOUND NOTHING, SO WHAT I DID WAS I WENT BACK TO-%USERPROFILE%AppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsTHEN I DELETED THE THEMES FILE AND MADE A NEW ONE. EXACTLY THE SAME. AND NOW I CAN CHANGE PICTURES TO ANYTHING I WANT. IM SOO CHUFFED LOL SORRY FOR BEING SAD BUT IT WAS BUGGING ME FOR MONTHS.WOOPEEE!!!!!!
